The fund

Receipts

The fees are the payment processor's — Liberapay takes no cut whatsoever. On this first donation they came to 0,31 € out of €4.00, that is 7,8 %. That is a lot, and the reason is simple: Stripe charges a fixed part per transaction. The smaller and more frequent the payment, the larger the share that is lost. Giving a bigger amount at once, or paying several months in advance, leaves more in the fund.

There is currently one active recurring donation of 4,00 € a month, set up on 27/08/2026 — about 10 % of the project's monthly cost. The line above is the first payment, for one month.

Expenses

The fund has not paid any expense yet.

Balance

4,00 € received gross, 3,69 € net after fees. Nothing spent.

Costs paid by one person

Since March 2026 the costs have been paid entirely by one person: first because no fund existed, and then — since 27/08 — because the fund exists but cannot yet cover them. This table is for information: it is for the CCLA assembly to decide whether those sums are an advance to be repaid or a contribution made.

The Supabase invoices are in dollars. The euro amounts use the rate of €0.857/$ observed on 25/08/2026, applied to every line. It is an approximation : the real amount is what the bank debited on each date.

Reference running cost

The .org domain was billed at €9.59 in March 2026 thanks to a first-year promotion ; the March 2027 renewal will be €14.99. The anarbib.is domain was registered on 07/09/2026 with ISNIC (the Icelandic registry), in the CCLA's name, for two years paid at once: it is the project's fallback domain, a European extension beyond the reach of the US jurisdiction that governs .org. And anarbib.org.br was registered on 08/09/2026 with Registro.br, also in the CCLA's name, for five years paid at once: the second fallback domain, on the other side of the Atlantic.

Method

• One line per movement, with its date and its supporting document. No silent rounding.
• Receipts are recorded gross and net : what the person gave, and what the fund received. The difference is the processor's fee, and it is shown.
• Amounts in foreign currency are converted and the rate used is stated.
• What is not known is written "to be confirmed", never silently estimated.
